This is my beautiful little girl.
She doesn't understand why she can't walk, she doesn't understand why all her friends can walk and she can't. She's on Baclofen three times daily to reduce the stiffness in her limbs, we call it her "walking medicine", she said to me the other day,"it's not working daddy, I still can't walk".
Keira turned 5 at the begining of February, her little brother Evin, that's him next to her on the top of the page, he'll be 2 in July. Evin's running around at top speed and that's very upsetting for Keira, she doesn't understand what she's doing wrong. when she meets other children and they ask why she's using her frame and she answers "because my legs don't work properly".
If you have children and you've ever not been able to give them something you think you should have, then you can understand how I feel.
Every day it breaks my heart to see her being left out because she's different.
Please help me help my little girl be the same as all of her friends.
